Health Officials are now RECOMMENDING vitamin and mineral supplements... EVEN FOR PEOPLE WHO EAT A GOOD DIET. OUR RECOMMENDATIONS ARE:

H IGHER INTAKE OF CALCIUM AND VITAMIN D, ESPECIALLY FOR WOMEN TO REDUCE THE RISK OF OSTEOPOROSIS.

FOLIC ACID 800 mcg, VITAMIN B6 25 mg and VITAMIN B12 100-150 mcg taken daily as a dietary supplement can help lower the risk of vascular and heart disease by reducing homocysteine levels.

VITAMIN E 400 IU is an antioxidant vitamin which may be beneficial for reducing heart risk.

Other vitamins may be necessary under certain circumstances.
