This is a great way to stay familiar with what's going on at HUMC. I'm alive because of the efforts of Drs. 00 and the excellent nurses and staff. have been a cardiac patient at HU and was totally impressed with the care I received.....MD's, "techs", and especially the nurses were extremely competant and caring. A rare combination these days!! Really wanted to stay a few extra days to recover from a rather severe angioplasty. This was over 4 years ago and I still remember how well I was treated. And I am rather a Type A personality. My wife has been in the E.T.D. for 13 years, and neither her passion nor her coleagues seem to fade after years on the battlefront. It's a tough job for all that are involved. I visited a friend yesteday who recently had quintuple bypass surgery at HUMC. I was astonished how well he was doing just a few days after surgery. This is clearly attributable to the wonderful care he is receiving at HUMC.

I've heard only GREAT things about Hackensack University Medical Center. I have a question. I am a mother of a 2 year old and a 5 month old. I am interested in being a nurse and was wondering if HUMC has a child care facility on the premises while I would be studying to become a nurse ?

My wife Regina had a stem cell replacement done under the direction of Dr. Pecora. Hopefully she will have a complete recovery. She was treated for breast cancer. She is doing fine after 1 year and has an appointment with Dr. Pecora next month. She received excellent care.

18 month historty of LBBB woth no firm evidence of Ischemic aetiology for the rate related block.Two perfusion studies in past 15 months were normal but one Holter showed transient ST elevation(!) Meds -Pravastatin and Atenolol.Chest discomfort and L hand discomfort seem to beppd by stress.No one seems to be able to give any defnite opinion other than possibly small vessel disease or spasm/ Would be willing to come to Teaneck for consult.
